Miami, FL, January 2, 2015 – Multiplica has launched 29 redesigned websites for Burger King franchises throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. The Burger King America division of the corporation updated their look in mid 2014 and the Latin American branch shortly followed suit. This is the first major redesign since 2012. The current redesign presents the brand with fresh new look, incorporating the look and feel of the US site to the region.
“All sites are working under the same framework, so we can change the look and feel without any additional cost to any of the franchisees, who will keep the same content management system as before. The new website features the same functionalities and look and feel as the US site, allowing users to easily search for their nearest restaurant and favorite products on the menu” says David Otero, Multiplica’s Director of Technology.
Burger King hired Multiplica in 2012 to unify all Burger King franchises sites throughout Latin America and the Caribbean with complete site re-design, a project that would establish the foundations of a unified digital strategy for the region: (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sLkeFFZYzGo ) . Multiplica was able to implement the new look and feel in 29 sites in less than 2 months, working closely with the Marketing Communications LATAM team of BK’s corporate HQ who defined and directed the functionality and look and feel of the project.
